Every family was proud to have someone of theirs as a member of Efon Alaaye Club, in the most it was their best who was a member. The parties and networking were legendary.

It was started as and it remains a non-partisan voluntary association of responsible and respectable indigenes, families and friends of Efon Alaaye.

The objectives were and remain to foster friendly relationship amongst members; seek and protect the interest of its members; work towards the upliftment of the Club and the general development of Efon Alaaye by making concrete and constructive suggestions to those in authority and cooperating with organizations having similar objectives.

The founding members have been blessed with long happy lives and have reached the zenith of their careers.

Today there is a chance to bring in new members of this generation that meet the profile of the club, the club therefor set up a committee chaired Prof Anthony Kila for its new membership drive. Other members of the committee include Engr. Supo Balogun, Mr Kola Ajumobi, Mr Goke Olajide, Dr Charles Dorherty, Mrs Mope Balogun, Mr Tunde Ashaolu, Engr. Banji Abodunde.
